What is this

What is a cron expression

Cron schedules jobs with 5 fields (minute, hour, day, month, weekday) combined via *, ,, -, /. This tool translates the expression into plain language and shows the next 5 runs so you know it means what you think it means.

FAQ

Are 6-field (with seconds) expressions supported?

The standard 5-field format (minute hour day month weekday) is supported — the common ground of Linux crontab and most schedulers.

What if both day-of-month and day-of-week are restricted?

Classic Vixie cron treats them with OR semantics — either matching field triggers the job. The tool follows this rule.

Which timezone is used for predictions?

Predictions use your device's local timezone. Most servers run jobs in UTC — double-check your scheduler's timezone config.
